The Adventure Moto/Outback Motortek X-Frames for the KTM 790/890 Adventure R / S are the most universal and functional side pannier frames yet, allowing simple, secure mounting of Rotopax, hard panniers and soft luggage.
Total width of the pannier racks mounted: 600mm/23.6″.
We also offer asymmetrical (narrower profile) pannier racks. Asymmetrical pannier racks width: 54cm
The new X-Frame sliding “X” plate design allows our tool box here to be installed on the inside both with the X-Frame version and standard pannier racks. For standard pannier racks, 1x “X” bracket must be purchased separately in order to install our tool box.

X-Frame
Designed by Adventure Moto Australia and manufactured by Outback Motortek. The new X-Frames are the most universal and functional side pannier frames yet, allowing simple, secure mounting of Rotopax, hard panniers and soft luggage.
Matte black powder coated mild steel frames with an alloy X-bracket with multiple Rotopax mounting positions for custom weight distribution, as well as multiple tie-down points. You can even remove the X-Bracket from your frames when running Hard Luggage to reduce the frame weight.

Installed with no alignment issues. A little tricky to get to a couple bolts, but watch the install video and you won’t have any problems. Product is very well made and I installed my Giant Loop soft Panniers without issue.

Great product, easy install on my KTM 890 AR. One caution not much room between the muffler and the front of the rail. Had to modify my wing slip-on heat shield to make it work. Overall big thumbs up

Fit my 23 KTM Adventure S perfectly. It’s sturdy and looks good. Got the asymmetric version with the intent of putting a smaller bag on the exhaust side. Wish they offered affordable detachable soft bags.
