The Adventure Moto/Outback Motortek X-Frames for the Honda CRF1000L Africa Twin are the most universal and functional side pannier frames yet, allowing simple, secure mounting of Rotopax, hard panniers and soft luggage.

New for 2019: we’re now offering standard pannier racks. The difference between our standard pannier racks and the X-Frames is that the standard frames don’t feature RotoPax mounts and tabs welded on all four corners.

X-Frame

Designed by Adventure Moto Australia and manufactured by Outback Motortek. The new X-Frames are the most universal and functional side pannier frames yet, allowing simple, secure mounting of Rotopax, hard panniers and soft luggage.

Matte black powder coated mild steel frames with an alloy X-bracket with multiple Rotopax mounting positions for custom weight distribution, as well as multiple tie-down points. You can even remove the X-Bracket from your frames when running Hard Luggage to reduce the frame weight.
Compatible with:

  • Kriega OS-32 without OS Platform
  • Giant Loop MotoTrekk and RTW
  • Wolfman
  • Enduristan Monsoon 3

    Extremely well made. Very solid. Mounted to the Twin with no issues. Plates pre-drilled for Rotopax is awesome! Really liked that it mounted to the subframe bolt instead of simply sliding in the OEM luggage slots. I would highly recommend!

    Mated this with some engine guards that I had powder coated white and it looks gorgeous. Bought a Rotopax to go with it and the X-brace combined with the various tie-down points make this thing super functional. I would like it it were more easily removable, but it looks so pretty that I don’t mind leaving it on the bike.

    The brackets that go under the seat causes a tear on both sides of seat installed in the lower position .I took them off and rounded the edges reinstalled them and put gorilla tape over them and the seat but it did not help.other than that they are great and I can’t say enough good things about your rep trying to help he was really great.

    I’ve had these racks on the Africa Twin for a few months but didn’t have a chance to put them through a good test, until recently. Group ride, for several hours with a lot of other adventure bikes on some rugged forest service roads in N.C. and S.C. At each stop, I dismounted, grabbed the racks and boxes and shook ‘em hard, checking for anything wrong. Not that I was surprised to see that they were fine but it is reassuring that these racks can take a beating without a problem. Can’t say the same for me after that ride. Completely satisfied with the quality and the price. Highly recommend.

Crash Bars: When designing these protective accessories, we had a different approach from other manufacturers. Keeping the high impact zone close the toughest mounting points was our main goal and the result is a compact, extremely sturdy set of crash bars. Skid Plate: Our skid plate is wider than the entire engine. It means that debris, rocks etc. that fly at it will bounce off the skid plate and leave your engine, oil filter, exhaust system header intact. Read more about features, specs and benefits below. Rear Luggage Rack:  it is very functional product. We’ve added holes that are large enough for technically any tie down straps or bungee cord to help you secure a bag, tent etc. on it. The are two laser cut holes that allow you to directly mount RotoPax fuel or water cans without any modification.
