I like the design and solid construction. The rear vertical pipe is too far back though and I frequently strike my knee caps on them. Fortunately I always wear knee guards when riding. I was surprised to be charged so much for the shipping especially seeing how much the kit cost. Good craftsmanship and fit though. I recently rode a more technical rout than I am used to and got to test the impact strength on three occasions. The crash bars held up well. Whatever the finish you used on them it held up with only minor scratches.
