Features

  • Quality 25mm steel tube with 2mm wall thickness – any low quality steel tubing BELOW THESE SPECS will be crushed when your 200Kg+ bike crashes into the ground. Our crash bars will take the beat!
  • Less is often more. We didn’t try to cover the whole entire bike with crash bars that look like a cobweb. The V-Strom 800 models have very few tough mounting points, thus it makes more sense to create one solid and compact crash bar that stays close to the few mounting points instead of being far spread out that results in an overly flexible and “soft” structure. It will do more damage to your V-Strom 800/DE! Our compact and tough crash bars are the only way to go here to truly protect your expensive and fragile parts.
  • Powder coated – combined with sandblasting it’s a killer combination to protect your product’s surface. No frills and tough just like your ADV bike!
  • Compatibility

Compatible with Suzuki V-Strom 800 and Suzuki 800DE models – 2023+

'Accessory Bar Tube ' is needed for non-DE models (Suzuki part # 41100-25811).

These crash bars for the V-Strom 800 DE are very solid and blend in well with the shape of the bike. I love the look of them, and they don’t stick out as far as some of the other bars I’ve seen. It really helps to keep the bike compact and I have no doubts they’ll protect the bike from a hard drop. There is only one issue I had with these bars that would make me question whether or not I’d buy the same set twice, and that is the installation.

I supported the weight of the engine with my floor jack while the bike rested on my track stand. I don’t think anything with my bike could have been out of alignment, but the mounting holes for the crash bars were off by as much as 8-10mm in some areas. It doesn’t sound like much until you try to bend or pry these massive bars into position.

I’m not sure if the bolt holes are drifting out of alignment while the bars are being welded together or if I’m just missing something, but even with all the bolts loosely in place with the bars on the bike, I needed to do some clamping, prying, and cursing to get some mounting points to line up. All that aside though, the damn things are solid once they’re on.
