I bought these racks for my 2024 (non-DE) V-Strom 800. The installation was quick-n-easy, with only one or two “What do they mean here?” moments while reading the instructions.
I would have *much* preferred symmetrical racks, though, like what’s available for the KTM 790/890. The asymmetrical racks work fine but I just don’t like the ‘lopsided’ aesthetics. If y’all ever decide to make symmetrical racks an option for the V-Strom 800, I’ll probably get another set. Or at least swap-out the left-side rack.
